great idea but remember they want to hurt the working man and probably half the drunk drivers are on state aide so we would still be paying anyway , we need to clear out Augusta and get some folks in there with a brain.report abuse

This sounds like a pretty good idea. Brings in money to the state, as well as increases the punishment for a serious crime. This would likely deter would-be or repeat drunk drivers that put other innocent people at risk!

Much better idea than taking the money from law-abiding citizens.report abuse
