Mike Rowe and the "Dirty Jobs" crew did an episode on Maine slime eels, and I've got to say, it is a very dirty job. After they've been brought on board the vessel, they had to separate the slime from the eel before putting them in the hold. The workers would somehow twirl each one around, getting the slime out. It's pretty nasty; they seem to produce buckets and buckets of slime. At first, Rowe had all he could do to not vomit. There's money in it, but it was one of the "dirtier" jobs I've seen on the show.report abuse
