All over the state of ME elected officials are going against the wishes of those who put them in office. Not surprising Evergreen/UPC now Fairwind is suspectd of bribery of public officials, fraud and making false claims in Prattsburgh,NY. When elected officials consistently go against the wishes of their constiuents...you have to suspect bribery. Gov. Baldaci continues to push windfarms although ME has ENOUGH electricity. We are self sufficient. 1 billion will be needed to send the power from the wind farms out of state. Who will benefit ...wind farms from out of state ..politicians who have greased palms. WE pay for it.1 billion dollars will be paid by our electricity bills for new transmission lines. This travesty should be stopped and the politicians who have been bribed should go to jail. the town manager of Mars Hill...Gov. Baldaci...there should be an investigation.report abuse

Another case where the politicians think they know better than the voters. People did not want this tax break for very sound reasons and made their case for the public record. Never paid much attention to who ran for these positions before but I will in the next election. If they think putting up road signs with gas at $5 is going to bring in tourist dollars they are wrong. It would have been better to lower our tax burden not TransCanada's.report abuse
