Bennett says ( I thought everyone was entitled to equal protection under the law -- evidently not. ) Everyone is just not you Bennett You screwed the town once for years now it is time we put a stop to you. Anymore more law suits you like to put out there on the town (like you have done to others to get rich.)report abuse

Scully, you're absolutely right. Every time there is change, there is opposition. In the 1850's, people objected to the smokestacks of railroad engines -- that's why there are no tracks in Sidney even today. Twenty years from now, people who oppose wind power today won't even notice the turbines, as you point out is the case with cell towers. We simply accept them (doesn't mean we like them) as the price of our society today.report abuse

I pray we get wind turbines all over Maine, owned by Maine companies and the tax breaks going to US. We NEED to get away from our oil dependency and I don't know about you, but I won't be able to afford to heat my home next winter and that scares me to death! The turbines are actually neat to look at, pieces of functional art if you will. Better than that "thing" we in Waterville have in the Concourse. What about cell phone towers? Don't hear much complaints about those! We may have to give up a few things to survive! No one seem to care when factories were polluting our rivers and air. We MUST have clean sources of fuel ... wind and water power are the best! Stop arguing and let's get moving before we are all in the dark and cold!report abuse
