Statistcally, per capita population,Maine between the years 1975 thu 1989 went though the biggest crime wave in the history of the state. Drunk driving rates were supposely worse, roadway record setting roadway fatality rates were set during that time period that still stand today.
The young criminals of these years 1975-1989 did not just disappear, they had kids. Thier kids, teens, young adults,20somethings,30 somethings are the ones causing Maine to go though a second crime wave in the history of Maine.
Its called intergenerational criminalsreport abuse
Do you really think you're Mass. people are all so perfect? NOT!
I lived there in the late 70's to early 80's and finally moved our family back to Maine to get away from the riff raff people in Mass!!!
Sadly we lose too many children to alcohol and drugs-it's not only "inter-generational" as I see it-report abuse
