I saw the "chase" in progress, saw the "theif" looking very suspicious. (though at the time had no idea why he looked so..until the police flew by!). We went to bed very uneasy about the situation, I am VERY happy that they were caught, and they should pay, both with time and money for their crime! I feel bad for the owners of the house - it was vacant, but I'm sure the repair wil be costly.report abuse

The penalties for this type of crime are going to have to be harsh as the crimes will be often against the little guy and will be hard to catch.

The courts should not look upon these types of crimes a small time event and should do whatever is necessary to put a sure stop to them now. Make an example of these home invaders and also push the legislature to affix huge fines and hard time to offenders who are convicted.report abuse
