I agree with Tboy. Simply put the city's use of the road in writing. It seems like a no-brainer to me. Doesn’t Waterville have an attorney?report abuse

Actually, the road is in such bad shape because it is a state aid road, and the state simply doesn't have the money to fix it. They have been deferring maintenance on that road and several others in the city for several years now. This was the only way the city was going to get any money from the state at all to fulfill the state's obligation. Once again, people should know all of the facts before they start spouting off about things. If you're so concerned, get involved, don't just complain.report abuse

plain and simple the reason the road is in such bad shape is colby dont pay taxes and waterville dont want to fix the road in front of them for that reason alone if this was such an important through way then waterville would have never let it become so rundown i say hand the road over to colby if they do close it like they say they wont them waterville starts making them pay the millions of dollars in taxes they have never had to pay i bet they would never think of closing it if they had to pay taxes every yearreport abuse
