From the state handbook: "A vision screening is required for individuals renewing their license at the first license renewal after attaining age 40 and at every 2nd renewal after that. A vision screening is required at every license renewal after attaining age 62."report abuse

I'm pretty sure there is a mandatory driving test at some point past the age of 70, but not sure when.report abuse

Wow no bad mouthing on this Car accident this morning, oh wait a minute that is right it was a 81 year old not a young adult this time that caused an accident!!!! It just shows that accidents happen to everyone not because of inexperience and everyone does get distracted while driving!! My prayers are with the driver right now while she is recovering @ EMMC!!!! When drivers get up there in age they should have to take a driving test to see if they are still able to drive and if not the state should take their License from them!!!!report abuse
