Michael Denis of Parksville, KY Foster in Strong used to make toothpicks; they've closed; Diamond in Oakland used to make toothpicks; they've closed. Not sure about Wilton, but the toothpicks in my cupboard were made in China, which is probably why Foster and Diamond closed. BTW, the brand name on my toothpicks is "Diamond" but it's a distributing company out of Indiana selling Chinese toothpicks. The sky IS falling!report abuse

Kathy of waterville, ME Here we live in the USA where nothing no longer is made here. The news was repoting on Heprin a blood thinning drug that was tainted ( made in China).( don't forget this is just one example) They were saying they only check the factories every 30 years and some factory's don't permit the inspectors in certain areas or let them see their files.
