As far as jesscia, who can't even spell the name right, her posts never make any sense. I just read them because they annoy me and cause me no end of wonder as to how people can write nonsensical drivel like that.

The new call center has ABSOLUTELY nothing to do with the school budget - the actual budget was LESS than last year's but more taxes will have to be raised because the state is not keeping its word about funding - SAD 53 will receive more than $400,000 LESS this year than last. The call center provides jobs - and only affects personal property taxes. The plaza in which it is located was already paying property taxes. You are talking apples and oranges. SAD 53 has one of the best school systems in the state and is managed quite well.report abuse
