Freakin right Mom, you're getting moved for free and someone else is paying for it! Not only that but they pay off your home, buy you a new septic and well, pay for your trailer to be moved and for your inconvenience in the whole matter.. Can't ask for more than that...and if a little brain damage from being too close to the power lines happens it'll probably be quite a few years before we notice!!! lol...love yareport abuse

I hope they were compensated for the loss of value of their property. Most people would never buy a home that close to a power line. The line coming through cut the value of their land, and house, substantially. If they are okay with the health risk and were compensated for the loss of value, it's win-win all around.report abuse

Debbie -

It's bad for your health to live under or close to high voltage transmission lines.

Do some research on this. There are a lot of nuts out there who've commented on this, but it is a real problem.

It's best to move well away from the lines. Health and safety first.report abuse

To, LewistonT, it was interesting enough for you to take the time to comment on so I guess you had nothing better to do than read the article.report abuse
