All roads should be toll roads. It would raise much needed money, reduce the use of gas, encourage car pooling, and create jobs. The toll booths could be placed at the drive up windows at drug stores since there is one on every street corner.report abuse

The I-295 is being shutting down during the three busiest months in the year. Motorists will be be able to use an E-Z pass transponder for free. Wow! How generous of the Maine Turnpike Authority/State of Maine to make collecting tolls easiee (for them). I'm sure the increase in their toll revenue is unplanned and is merely coincidental. It's amazing how they figured out a new way to put it to the little guy!report abuse
