It's time to take a stand and stand up for what's right... it's time to stop letting this crap go on. I'm not just talking about this one incident, this is a miniscul problem when compaired to the whole situation.
We're letting these primitive beings into our sacred country only to let them trample on it. When we travel, we abide by their customs and laws... why is it they don't do the same for us? Why is it that we have to learn spanish to get around the southern areas? Again I say, this country is falling... brick by brick.report abuse
This project was probably not well designed. However, it has raised many interesting points. I personally believe that the flag should be respected. I would not burn one. But, I would fight for my right to burn one, if I chose to.report abuse

Nice art of Susie with a gun to her head there, as well. Hey, it's just art, and no one should have a problem with heart felt art should they? Not according to Theo.
You'll find a phot of Theo in it's larval stage on that site as well.report abuse
“Crane didn't like this either because she was brought up with flag etiquette.” Well I could have shot my ex-husband and gotten away with self defense, but I didn’t.
JD, "a harmless display of 1st amendment rights"
Tell that to Dog the Bounty hunter, I never liked that show and was more than happy when they pulled him off the air for utilizing his "Freedom of Speech" using the "Nggr" word in a privately recorded conversation. The media had a free for all on that one.
Tim Kindred of Bath, ME, “I hope that both the artist and the faculty who allowed and supported this action are charged under Maine's Hate Crime laws.”
Sorry Tim but after seeing this. I truly believe that the State of Maine doesn’t have the balls to charge this woman with anything.
Be it duct tape or rags sewn together in a POW prison camp by a United States Soldier. Somehow I don’t believe that Susan Crane would or ever could truly understand this outrage for the disrespect she has displayed. What others must do and pay the ultimate sacrifice for this person to hide behind the 1st Amendment Freedom of Speech.
Susan Crane, in my eyes you rank right up there with Hanoi Jane.
If Susan Crane was your daughter? I would be so ashamed of her I wouldn‘t love her any less, I just wouldn‘t be able to allow her into my home again because I surly didn’t raise my daughter like that. No wonder her husband and son wouldn’t stay by her side.
I wish you well and hope that you sleep peacefully at night knowing that someone has just died for your right to hide behind the 1st Amendment and someone will die tomorrow for your right to continue to hide.
I wonder what her next project will be?
Shoot an American Eagle and display it to see what reaction she would get…? After all The American Eagle is only a Symbol.report abuse
