Once the license is gone, there isn't much point in spending more public money on this project. Without the chance to generate power from the dam I don't see the point here. It's time to move on, let's put money and effort into viable projects and programs.report abuse

The town of Winslow seems to have many educated
citizens. Fletcher should not be made to wait for
term limits for his get-away. Certainly, one of the
political parties must be able to find a good
candidate, not another Hillary, but a dedicated
down to eath person who will fight for the good
of all the people in the district. People have no idea what a waste of time, and money some of these
Career politicians cost us. {Change} yes we can.report abuse

Isn't it time for these special people behind the cesspool to start paying legal fees for themselves and get off of the backs of the rest of Winslow?report abuse

When the electric rates rose sky high, where was
his honor the State Rep Fletcher? AFter all, his
shills and followers keep talking about how much electricity we could save if we kept the dam!
It is now a matter of fact, that any power produced by the dam, is channeled into the Mix, in other words, it goes to Wall St and back to the middle-men who are politically connected, and then to the
Winslow consumers who have become prisoners to this new
Scam called Deregulation, and if the press is guilty of anything, it's their refusal to expose the Scam for what it is, an Enron sponosred
Casino game where you cannot tell who the house
is that is dealing the cards, soooooooo Mr
State Representative Fletcher, besides your private swimming pool with the yellow perch,
Exactly what are we gaining with the dam?
Our electricity is now coming from the Spaniards.
Enjoy...report abuse
