Well I will tell you the facts, A very loved young man dired trying to get out his bedroom window a home that his uncle owned. Now they not only have greive for the loss of everything they worked thier whole life for, they have to grieve for a family member and probley have to deal with the gilt of not being able to get him out of the house due to the intencity of the fire. So all I can say to you readers who like to jump to coclusions about a family you dont even know that mabey made some poor choices but has already paid for them is have a little heart and remember the family does read what you write.
As for the news reporter the paper should fire the person who could not gather the facts right that pertained to the fire, but was sure to publish a bunch of crap about the past that really doesnt mean anything. To the family I love you guys like you are my own family and i am so sorry for all of your losses. My heart and prayers are with you today and always. To joshes mom and dad there are no words I can ever say to take away the pain of the loss of your child. I am so sorry. with love, mereport abuse
just because a Police Officer comments on something it does not make it a fact, this paper did not exercise proper judgement when reporting this fire and death.
The Chief of Police actually even explained to the media that all the facts are not in, but the media still went ahead anyway. and yes we all want a very detailed investigation and the Police and Fire Marshels Office is doing just that, appearently the paper doesnt need facts before they report, and lets not forget the reporting of the deceased name in the paper BEFORE the family was told it was confirmed to be Josh.
So now instead of a story about the life of a boy who was loved very much and missed, or about the family who lost a home and everything in it including his 19 year old Nephew who they loved very much. Its a story of mystery and drama. Iv been here all week and not heard the media call once to ask to do a story about Josh or the loss. I guess the truth does'nt sell as many papers.
I for one will never buy a paper again from these folks and I urge you to voice your concerns and comments as well to the insensitivity of the author of the stories. I dont blame random comments from some of these readers that dont know any better, but I do hold professional reporters accountable and to use common sense and compassion.
I for one will not forget those that have helped and I will not forget the others that only wanted to do harm.report abuse
