Repub1,

You prove that it is so important for Republicans to be petty. Rush Limbaugh started that business about calling the "Democratic" party (correct) the "Democrat" party, and it is a travesty that the President of the United States (a petty, vicious little Republican) picked up on it. It's an insult on the face of it because sorry, Rush Limbaugh doesn't get to redefine the terms or actual names regarding established political parties. The correct is DEMOCRATIC party.
Personally, I've called for the Republican party to be referred to as either the "Republic" Party (same as switching Democratic to Democrat) or Republi-CON party, since most Republicans are either CONNING voters or are more like warlike Klingons from Star Trek than thinking Human Beings.
How's that? Accurate I'd say.report abuse

Vivo Busho,

Good points. I certainly do not know alot about the inner workings of the government or big corporation. I am definitely coming from a simplistic point view. I do not think the candidates running for the Democratic party offer fairness either. We really do need to re-structure our political parties and maybe add a couple.report abuse

By the way, it is not the democratic party, it is the democrat party. Use the correct terms. As we have seen, the democrat party is not democratic.report abuse
