The majority of DHHS funding is through the federal government - which is why services were cut when federal funding was cut.

That said, the budget mess is not 'fixed'. If Real ID is to cost $200M as projected, that cost will be funded by the State - not the federal level.report abuse

Shortly they will announce over another 100 million dollars the state is short and one of two things will happen,
Either the state will make some of the freeloaders soaking of DHHS get off the system , or taxes will go up .
