political wheel turns, however, one thing I do understand is that TJ Travares is a thief! He may have forgiven himself or better yet, justified his actions already, but let's not forget the embarrassment he caused the City of Waterville and the very people who elected him as a city official.
Are those same people ready to give him the opportunity to repeat these actions on a much larger scale?
His written confession and the outcome of the court speaks loudly of Mr. Travares. Let's not let him blend in like a reptile, but expose him as the snake in the grass he chooses to be!
Shame on the Morning Sentinel for not getting the full story correct.
I for one will never forget, forgive, or support a thief in our local or national Goverment!report abuse
Can this man be really trusted? I would not like to give him a chance to do something like that again with more money available to him. I think Henry Beck would be the best for this district. Henry has lived here all his life and has done alot for the North End in Waterville, He plans to live here after graduation.,report abuse
Residency is established by intention. If it is the intention to remain here indefinitely from day one, the person is a resident. If it is not, the person is not.
I travel for work, often. I don't go shove my nose into local affairs wherever I go. I work, and get an absentee ballot and vote at home, where I have an interest. I am not a resident there, and my opinion on how they should be doing things means nothing to them.report abuse
