Prediction: dam breach is only temporary. FPL will get a federal grant to put it back with fish lift. Everybody wins in the end.

Why else would they only remove eighty feet of the dam? The fish will have to play; find the hole..report abuse

I was an operator at this dam from 1981-1992. Sad to see it go. It produced 1.8 megawatts of electricity per hour when the river had a flow. Not a lot but there were times when every drop of water counted to make power. How times have changed.report abuse

Make the special interest groups eat several fish a year from the Sebasticook and Kennebec rivers; That`ll get rid of them and their idiotic save the world views.report abuse
