At least Waterville appears to be a faily safe place to walk during daylight hours. Augusta? No way - day or night there are some pretty scary characters walking around that "city".report abuse

A top spot for walkers -

Apparently the editors/writers of Prevention Magazine haven't actually been to Waterville. Invite them to walk the streets of the south end on a hot summer evening where it would quickly turn into a run as they try to get away from certain "Elements of the SouthEnd"....report abuse

I am sure the list was made LAST SUMMER...I don't think snow was included in that report! I guess there nothing better to do than walk around since there are no jobs there!report abuse
