Al, you need to get a valid arguement-or at least maybe once boat on the river. It is beutiful beyond description, the eagles overhead, the turtles watching on the banks, the water lush with bass and loads of other fish. The sewage you claim to know about-if it indeed comes in, would only be at the inlet yards from the dam-water flows downstream as you know-therefore the Kennebec would be the one waterbody that would be affected.report abuse

It’s interesting to watch the saga of the “dam” thing regress into a discussion of a guy named Raymond who writes a little funny.

When will people in Winslow become concerned that the rocket scientists at the DEP licensed, under the table, the Vassalboro Sanitary District to dump 72,000 gallons per day of Vassalboro’s municipal wastewater into the China Lake Outlet Stream. That stream empties into the little lake in Winslow formed by the Fort Halifax Dam that some people in Winslow are trying so hard to save.

Is it that some Winslow residents just like sewerage?report abuse

The kiddies used to have their l33t talk online about 10 years ago. This Peter_Raymond never out grew it I guess. I don't try to read it because I found it annoying even back then. To use l33t talk today you have to be some kind of "Johny come lately" who doesn't know this kiddie fad has passed I guess.

At least Valley Girl speech was cute for a while - and they had the sense to let it fade away. I mean, gag me with a spoon Peter_Raymond!report abuse
