Anyways:
Nuclear wastes ironicly have become the most serious problem with nuclear power generation, we are told.
But nuclear wastes are not a problem.
Please read this link, before disagreeing with me. http://www.thenewamerican.com/node/7008#SlideFrame_1
Despite the enthusiasm politicians and the media exhibit for solar and wind power, these sources of energy, compared with nuclear power, produce tiny amounts electricity; and they harm the environment. They cannot replace fossil fuels, or nuclear power.
Building nuclear power plants can help end the War on Terror, in addition to keeping our lights and computers on.
Everyone is hopping mad about his heating bill, but few know who is to blame. Many denounce the producers themselves. But the environmentalists have for years extolled the glories of natural gas while attacking coal and nuclear power. It's hardly a wonder that we have shortages today. It is entirely man-made – or green-made, in any case.
Their target was and is energy – in any form that is industrially robust. Their primary demons have been nuclear energy and hydrocarbon energy. Solar energy, biofuels, and wind energy will be acceptable to them only so long as they remain industrially impractical for the generation of large amounts of inexpensive energy.
