I couldn't agree with you more. That's precisely what I'd do. I have no desire to attend the game in person. I've always said "if you want to watch the game, stay home" this way you don't need to put up with all the crap the fans dish out, such as the "wave", gag me..............report abuse

I don't understand - does the writer think the tickets should be free? Or are they advocating a govt mandated price control?

Its called supply and demand. When there are millions of fans and only thousands of seats, the price goes up. Didn't you take a basic economics 101 class in college?

OH I get it - you're trying to incite class warfare. The have-nots, and all that jazz. Good luck with that.

Just remember that if everyone could afford to hop on the plane and see the game, there would be no superbowl - only bread lines and rationing.

In other news, most Maine motorists are stuck in boring old cars, as Lamborghinis start at $175,000. Life just isn't fair!!report abuse

$3,000 can buy you a nice 60" Sony SXRD projection HDTV, a Series 3 HD TiVo, and you'd still have about $500 left for snacks. Stay at home and watch the Superbowl in High Def on your nice comfy couch.report abuse

Seems like a lot of money for fans to pay to witness the end of an 18 -1 season :-)

Go NY Giants!report abuse
