State authorities could not get into this puppy mill, but local animal control (Mr Jessie Turner) DID. And he claimed that he "saw nothing wrong" and GAVE HER A LICENSE!!!!

This was LESS than a year ago.

Obviously, there were many things wrong.

Mr. Turner should be prosecuted as well.

These puppy millers locate in areas where LOCAL AUTHORITIES collude with them to keep the abuse and disease going.

People in positions of authority who think that the locals should be allowed to abuse and kill dogs for profit.

Not to mention, has this puppy mill breeder paid ANY state or federal taxes over the years for this operation?

Local authorities are just as culpable here.report abuse

Stories like this make me want to cry for the poor defenseless, innocent animals which are forced to take this horrible abuse. Where are these people's hearts? Who, in a proper state of sanity, can look into an animals trusting eyes, & commit this terrible, inhumane, behavior? The scary thing is, if the will treat an animal in this way...........report abuse

Maine prosecutors need to get tough with these “puppy” mills where low class jerks breed dogs and cats to gain “easy money”.

Taking these crimes seriously will send a message to other “easy money” hillbilly types to get a job and stop breeding puppies or selling drugs (same idea) and go to work to get money.report abuse
