I agree, but that's a very short-term solution to our current supply problem. We need leadership who has a 10 to 20 year plan to decrease our dependence on oil altogether, domestic or otherwise. It's time to accept the fact that oil won't always be there for us.report abuse

It is less scary driving the interstate with the tractor trailer guys driving at a reasonable speed. If the gas prices continue to rise maybe my ride on the interstate at midnight this winter won't be as dangerous with these big rigs. The majority of people with SUVs & trucks will not downsize. They just can't!!! A small Geo or Focus just isn't "them."report abuse
